Today we got up really early to ensure that we made it down to the pitches nice and early so we could observe the last goalkeeper session and also the warm up that the players did in the morning.
We had spoken to Keith Reece, the goalkeeper coach the day before over dinner and wanted to look at the techniques he used when teaching the art of goalkeeping.
At the end of the session, we were informed that the afternoon training session would not go ahead as preparation was being made for the games the next day, but that the coaches were available to interview later on.
After preparing questions, we walked to the team hotel where we each interviewed someone. I interviewed assistant coach Brett Hills about how he felt the preparation for the world cup was going and how he felt the camp had gone.
After the interviews, we went back to the team hotel where I wrote a preview piece about the friendly games the next day and had another late night.
