After a much deserved lie in, we made our way down for the first of the two games, only to find we had got the time wrong and that England were leading the Netherlands by two goals at half time.
The second half saw the Dutch stage a remarkable comeback, scoring two goals, including a penalty and also hitting the wood work. The England defence were particularly troubled by a tasty right winger, who started most of the Dutch attacks and was a constant source of strife.
After a quick break, we were back at the pitch for the second game of the day. The opponents this time were Norway but they faced stern opposition in the shape of Faye White, Rachel Yankee and Eniola Aluko.
A close game ensued with both teams having ample opportunity to convert their chances to goals but failing.
