For the next few months UEL student and GB judoka Sophie Cox will keep us updated on the highs and lows of her aspiration to compete at London 2012.

Career Highlights: 2011, European championships, Istanbul: bronze. 2005, European championships: silver

What is your sporting ambition? To win olympic, world, commonwealth and European titles

What was your inspiration to take up your sport?  A passion for challenge and a hidden feistiness

What are your interests outside of sport? Travelling, music, random facts, watching films, dancing, eating out

In your mind, whats the most memorable moment of past Olympics/Paralympics? Watching Kelly Holmes win double Olympic gold

What three words best describe you? Super sassy sound

Who should light the flame for London 2012? Steve Redgrave

If you were a character from a film, who would you be and why? Alex Munday (Lucy lui) in charlie’s angels – cos she kicks ass!

What would we find in your supermarket shopping trolley? Spinach,smoked salmon, eggs, grapefruit, dark chocolate, chicken, wine and fizzy water

What are your top three training tips? Get the most out of every training day; focus but remember to recover and relax in-between sessions

What is your number one training tip?  Push hard

What is your tip for the top?  Nobody said it was easy
