UEL India cricket tour looms large

In under 5 days time, a group of cricketers representing the University of East London’s cricket team will be heading to India.

As part of the tour, the university students shall visit many areas in both Mumbai and Pune. Buildings visited will include St Xavier school, the Elephanta caves and Sathaye College as part of the student’s role as university ambassadors when on the subcontinent.

Whilst on tour, the side is also due to play two 35 over matches against Bombay and P J Hindu Gymkhana.

The players are going to finish the tour by watching an Indian Premier League game at the Subrato Roy Sahara Stadium.
