Uel recorded their one and only victory of their tour of India, in this, their final match of the week.
East London batted first and again began slowly, as they lost 3 wickets earlier. However, David Booth (38) helped to steady the ship alongside the excellent Sam Foster.
Having recovered from a bad start, Uel lost another 2 wickets when they looked to have taken control of the game to become 160-5 off 33 overs. Fortunately, the tail wagged and Foster was able to finish on 107 off 93 balls.
Uel began well taking 3 wickets in the opening 10 overs and never looked back. Mark Barrell, Charlie Cotton and Booth picking up the bulk of the wickets.
There was also an outstanding caught and bowled from Cotton and a full length catch by wicketkeeper Scott Silver from Ali Wood’s bowling.
