Sports Brand Crowd Funding Marketer (Voluntary position)


5-10 / week – Flexible working hours


4-5 weeks


Your chance to join a new, exciting sports brand that is expecting big things in 2016. We are undertaking a new Kickstarter campaign promoting a new sports training innovation which helps athletes run faster, jump higher and prevent injury.

Kickstarter and similar crowd funding platforms are becoming an ever present part of business, from start-ups to established brands to finance business. Crowd funding campaigns require a unique knowledge base in order to get a project funded, which can only be gained from the experience of running a campaign.

You will be trained under the guidance of the Director on running a successful campaign and learn the strategies used, write articles with a marketing purpose considering SEO techniques, brand exposure, awareness and gain experience through different forms of marketing. You will be shown how to increase your network of contacts with a specific aim to meet your marketing goals.

Having previously managed a successful crowd-funding campaign himself the director has now learnt how to really maximise the outcome through his experience which will fast-track your understanding of marketing and crowd-funding campaigns – making you to really stand-out from the crowd.

Not only will this appeal greatly to future employers, you will have the chance to see what it takes first hand to launch a new sports business.

The successful student will be passionate about learning and determined to gain the tools that will propel them to a successful career or business. An interest and experience in sport is desirable but not necessary.

We are forming a small team of students in the following areas:

PR, Communications, Marketing and Social Media Management
